I find it hilarious that Sallie Mae, the shark student loan company and its employees are picketing to save their own hides and jobs.  Ha Ha ~ how does it feel?  You're worried about your loan-collecting jobs?  You're crying that you won't be able to pay your bills?  We have no sympathy for you after what you and Sallie have done to the American people. 

We, the people who have been screwed by Sallie are laughing loudly.  Now you know what it feels like to be helpless, to not have a job, or to fight for your jobs ~ to not be able to pay your bills ~ to have people like you coming after you.

I hope some of you have loans with Sallie ~ then you'll be in the tank with us.  Instant karma ~

To be fair, the guy on Goodreads may not be THE stalker, but he is a harasser.  After all, there are over two million readers and writers on the Goodreads site.  The writers all promote their books. It's one of the main reasons for the site.  So along comes "the guy referred to in the last post" and he posts abuse towards me: that who am I to be such a self-promoting jerk, that I'm untalented, that my book should die a "blessed death", that I should ride off on my broom. Now, what are the odds that out of over two million people, that I would be the one "the guy" does this to?  Why hasn't he said this to all the other authors promoting their books?  And I wasn't even promoting my book - a woman asked me a question about my book and I answered her. My book was only out a week or so.  Why not harass the authors who post every three minutes?  Because it's not about that. It's about a guy who's a stalker and a piece of garbage who is only on the site to harass. Could be lgagal in old-man guise.

He also wants me to send him a book to review. Yeah, sure. Like he wants me to know his address.  Supposedly, this guy has four degrees.  If true, it is proof that education doesn't make creeps any better than non-educated creeps.  And if he's an attorney, he knows that he started it; so where is his leg to stand on?  Just a bully who can dish it out but can't take it, especially from a woman.  Anyway, didn't Shakespeare hate lawyers?  Aren't lawyers on the bottom rung in the inferno?  What kind of bragging right is that?  Does he do any pro-bono work? 

Sounds like harassment and stalking to me. Then when I tell on him to Goodreads, in comes a girl, who may or may not be one of his minions, and she underhandedly asks me if it's wise to tell him to stop threatening me.  I say "yes, that if the law won't do anything and this COULD be the stalker, or even if it's just a guy harassing me for NO reason, that, yes, I will tell him to leave me alone."

So "the guy" writes that he's going to sue me and that he's going to post my email to him online. Like I care. He said, "You'll be the laughing stock of Goodreads."  Why would I be the laughing stock? He's the one who started the harassment.  When I posted back that he could sue me all he wants, that I know the law, that he started the harassment, that it's hypocritical to harass me and then be a baby when I blog about it, he didn't like that. He told on me. Oh, I'm dying - whatever shall I do?

He told me he's not only a poet and an "educator", but an attorney.  So what?  And who calls themselves "educators" anyway?  They call themselves professors.  And why would someone with all those alleged credentials pick me out of millions to harass in the first place?  What attorney and "educator" acts like that?  Plus, the "educator" spelled my name wrong.  Plus he thinks he can sue me for blogging. When I wouldn't bow down to him, as I said, he told on me. 

So, either this guy is the original stalker or he's a new one. And yes, "guy", you did harass me and I saved the posts, so go ahead, baby, sue me.  I also see that you've been called nasty and a bully on other Goodreads threads.  The difference there is:  these people choose to be bullied and keep letting him do it.  It is a critique thread.  I was minding my own business and he came out of nowhere like a vulture on the space where my book is.

There is also something obnoxious and suspicious about someone who is so educated that no matter what the subject is, he sounds like a textbook.  Many of us have gone to college, and even in class, I never had a professor who regurgitates and vomits off so many facts at once about so many subjects at once.  Something is not right.  Funny, I am very good friends with a physicist, and he never spews textbook talk. Another suspicious thing is the way he copies my words to spout back at me. One being: "the truth will out."  Yes, it will. 

He has used his "attorney" schtick on Goodreads, because they caved.  No one has principles anymore.

The stalker has infiltrated Goodreads for at least the third time. Maybe more. Now he's passing himself off as Michael Bennett, a professor.  Out of over a million people who read and promote their books on Goodreads, he tells me I should get off my broom and stop promoting myself; that I'm untalented. Funny, how I've won literary awards, been nominated three times for a Pushcart Prize, had my poetry book on two "best of" lists for 2009, had a story included in DZANC's Best of the Web Antholgy, and I have a memoir published just last week.

Me thinks he's jealous, poor boobie. 

Get a life.  He even tried to get me to send him a free book so he could review it, taunting me that I wouldn't have the nerve.  Who is he kidding? He doesn't want me to know who he really is or where he lives. How would I send it? And why would I waste a book I can sell by sending it to a pervert who threatened to murder me, rape me and cut off my clitoris?

Keep it up, guy. Eventually the truth will out.

again the boston review acts like an ass~

I tried for almost a year and a half to get the Boston Review to take down posts written AS ME, but NOT BY ME.  They were written by lgagal, who also goes by John Wesley Harding, gradgirl and jigglebelly.  Two months ago, after complaining to their website host ~ BLUEHOST ~ finally, Furtman writes back, but he doesn't take them all down.

And talk about STUPID ~ the only reason I found more posts on Boston Review by the stalker was because FURTMAN emailed me, PROMOTING his rag of a journal. So, he thinks that after a year and a half of trying to get them to take down a stalker's posts, that I care about their journal? They think this is good business policy?  They are so hungry for readers they think that I am going to buy their rag ~ after all this?  If I still lived in Boston, I would have gone in there and really given it to them. I even told them in over a hundred emails I was from Boston and a writer.

And how many emails do I have to send to the snooty Boston Review about the posts written AS ME by the stalker ~ how many hundreds of emails do I have to send before they take the posts down?  This so called "journal" received emails from me for over a year that a STALKER was writing posts on their website AS ME ~ and they IGNORED ME.

Ignored the fact, even though I told them, that the STALKER threatened to kill me, rape me and mutilate me and tried to destroy any way of my earning a living.

Today I find that posts by the STALKER are still up, so I emailed Furtman at the Boston Review, with the URL I found, and he is an ass.  He writes back and asks me to email him the URL.

So much for the literati thinking they are so much more empathic and "for the people" than everyone else.  I'm an actual person, not the abstract "over there" person who needs help.  It's bad enough the FBI and the brain-dead NYPD do nothing, but when people in your own industry won't help, I am calling them out on it.

To the editor and to Will Furtman:

you are not above your readers.

who tells me I should die, get raped, get mutilated, etc.  I guess the only reason he doesn't threaten this woman is because she is a "name" and could get him good.  Here is his post.  The only thing odd is that he must have some sycophant spellcheck and syntax-check and proofread, because that is the only difference in his post from all his rantings at me.  It is dated December 24, 2009 and man, I guess the pigface was lonely and miserable on Christmas Eve.  What a maggot. It is obvious he has no respect for women and worse than that, he deems himself the God of all things.  The purveyor of all that happens, why it happens and who deserves misery.  I can't wait for something really nasty to happen to this guy. Or maybe it already has and he's taking his immature anger out on the world.  The world would be better off without you, John Wesley Harding, pussy, who can't ever use his real name.  How did that cult work out for you?
